DERA GHAZI KHAN, April 10: Unscheduled electricity loadshedding is playing havoc with the e-ticketing system of the Pakistan International Airlines’ district sales office. As a result, scores of people are facing difficulties in getting their tickets and seats confirmed.

An official from the PIA’s district sales office told Dawn on the condition of anonymity that about 150 people were visiting the airlines’ office everyday for booking, but the loadshedding had choked the e-ticketing system, causing problems for the travelers.

He said that as a temporary arrangement phone was being used for confirmation of tickets and seats, adding a team of technicians would arrive here soon to put the system in order.

The e-ticketing system had been in trouble for the last 24 hours.
