MOSCOW, April 10: Russian energy giant Gazprom and Eni of Italy are in talks about working on joint gas projects in Libya.

“We are negotiating joint projects with Eni in Libya,” said Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov.

Negotiations took place last week when Eni chairman Paolo Scaroni met Russian President Vladimir Putin at the presidential residence just outside Moscow, the paper said.—AFP
