Minor girl raped

TAXILA, April 9: A minor girl was sexually assaulted at Pind Malrian village in the jurisdiction of Hassanabdal police.

Police said the 10-year-old girl was going home from school when a resident of the same area lured her to a deserted place and sexually assaulted her. Later, the girl was taken to the THQ hospital for medical examination and a case was registered with the police. The police arrested the accused and started further investigation.

Meanwhile, the Hassanabdal police arrested two proclaimed offenders wanted in different cases. The police said Fayyaz Ahmed was booked under section 457 while Masood was wanted in another case registered under Section 380.
