Babar to lead U-15 cricket squad

LAHORE, April 8: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday named its 14-member Under-15 squad for the International Championship to be held in the West Indies from April 16 to May 5.

The 14-member squad, to be led by Mohammad Babar Azam was picked by the junior selection committee, headed by Col Naushad Ali, said a PCB spokesman on Tuesday.

Squad: Mohammad Babar Azam (captain), Mirza Ahsan Jamil (vice-captain), Mohammad Qaddafi, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Waqar Khan, Gohar Zafar, Mohammad Hassan Azad, Faizan Khan (wicket-keeper), Naqqash Basharat, Mohammad Naeem, Syed Kumail Abbas, Ahsan Ali, Hafiz Usman Qadir, Ahsan Ali Abbasi.

Officials: Haroon Rashid (manager), Ameer Akbar (coach), Mohammad Hussain (trainer), Mohammad Usman Ghani (physio) and Mohammad Talha Ijaz (analyst).
