DARRA ADAMKHEL, April 7: Two workers of a non-governmental organisation including a woman received injuries when their vehicle came under attack in the troubled Frontier Region, Darra Adamkhel on Monday morning.

The NGO workers were heading for Kohat from Peshawar when unidentified armed men opened fire at their vehicle near Darul Uloom Akhurwal. Mohammad Wasim and his female colleague received bullet injuries.

Wasim told police that they were going to their office in Kohat when unidentified persons fired at their vehicle. He said that he had take shelter in the nearby telephone exchange.Local people shifted both the injured workers to Zarghunkhel hospital. They were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar after receiving first aid.
