KHAIRPUR: 4 kidnapped

KHAIRPUR, April 4: Four villagers, two of them students, were kidnapped from the Ulra Jagir area of Kingri taluka late Thursday evening.

Relatives of the kidnap victims with police, who had followed footprints of the kidnappers, returned on Friday without any success.

Gulzar Bhutto, Khalilur Rehman, Aslam and Atta Mohammad Bhutto were watering a banana orchard near Jamra Morr in the Ulra Jagir area when eight armed men arrived there and kidnapped them. After being informed, the relatives arrived at the orchard where they found sleepers and spades of the kidnapped people. The relatives with police followed footprints of the kidnappers which disappeared near the River Indus in the kutcha area.

Aslam and Atta Mohammad are said to be students of matriculation.
