ISLAMABAD, April 21: The G-9 Markaz Traders’ association has condemned the relay of Indian movies at the local cable network.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, the traders demanded of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to direct all cable operators to follow the prescribed code of conduct. The office-bearers of the traders’ body accused a senior official of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) of supporting the cable operators who were violating the government’s ban on televising Indian movies in the country.—Our Reporter
