SHIKARPUR, April 3: A demonstration was held outside the Hamayoon police station on Thursday for the recovery of two kidnapped men.

Agha Dawood Khan Pathan, an excavator driver, and Huzoor Bux Bharchoond of village Mir Daho, were kidnapped by six armed men riding motorcycles in the jurisdiction of Hamyoon police station on Tuesday.

Shikarpur DPO Agha Mohammad Tahir had assured the families of the kidnapped men’s of recovery within 48 hours.

However, when the police failed to recover the kidnapped men, their relatives and villagers staged a demonstration and blocked the Shikarpur-Jacobabad road for two hours. However, the road reopened later.
