LAHORE, April 2: Lawyers are set to stage rallies in the city on Thursday (today) to press the new parliament to restore judges deposed in the wake of Nov 3 emergency.

Two separate rallies will be taken out from Aiwan-i-Adl and Lahore High Court under the banners of the Lahore Bar Association (LBA) and the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA), respectively. Both rallies, like the past practice, are scheduled to merge into one in front of the GPO crossing to proceed to the Chairing Cross.

People from various walks of life and activists of political parties and different associations will join the lawyers in their rallies. The rallies will be taken out after general house meetings of both the bars.
