Man killed, 23 injured

NAWABSHAH, April 2: A man was killed and 23 injured in two traffic accidents in the district here on Wednesday.

A van coming from Sukkur hit a motorcycle at Buchheri Phatak killing motorcyclist Malook Birhamani on the spot while his companion Haji Birhamani and two van passengers Laiq Mohammed and Allah Warayo were injured. The injured were brought to the NMC Hospital. Van driver managed to escape.

In a separate incident Nawaz Solangi, Sarfaraz Brohi, Angan Machhi, Ms Darya Khatoon, Hussain Solangi, Noor Nabi Brohi and 14 others were injured when the bus they were travelling in overturned.
