GUJAR KHAN, March 31: Two women were killed and two other persons were injured in a road accident near Sohawa on Monday, police said.

According to the officials, a car that was part of a marriage possession rammed into a bus near Bakrala Bridge because of slippery road conditions in the wake of drizzle.

As a result, two women occupants — Almas Bibi and Qamar Bibi — died on the spot, while two other persons — Safia Bibi and Aurangzeb Khan — sustained serious injured. The injured were later shifted to a hospital in Gujar Khan.

Man held with 7kg heroin: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled a bid to smuggle huge quantity of heroin to Britain and arrested the carrier at Islamabad airport, officials said on Monday.
