MITHI, March 31: Transpor-ters of Chhachhro taluka on Monday parked their buses and trucks for about six hours to protest what they called registration of fake cases against supporters of Arbab group by Chhachhro police at the behest of local PPP leaders.

Police arrested driver Basheer Nohari and conductor Anwar Nohari and detained them at Chhachhro police station on Monday upon which drivers of about 30 buses parked their vehicles at Chhachhto bus stop and burnt tyres to protest the alleged excesses of police and local PPP leaders.

Some residents also joined them and raised slogans: “Stop implicating supporters of Arbab in false cases.

Talking to journalists, MNA Dr Ghulam Hyder Samejo and MPA-elect Razzaq Rahimoon alleged the PPP waderas of feeling enraged at the PML for winning all six seats of Thar and started getting registered fake cases against supporters of Arabab while police were arresting innocent voters.
