SADIQABAD, April 20: The suspension of Abassin Express stop at Sadiqabad has added to the difficulties of locals and commuters of its adjoining cities and towns.

The train was facilitating all strata of people, including government employees and business community, to reach their offices and places of work at Rahim Yar Khan and Khanpur.

Similarly, passengers intending to travel far off places like Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Rawalpindi and Peshawar are also devoid of the facility.

The timings of Quetta Express, the only available train for Quetta, has also been disturbed from 5pm to odd hours at 2.29am.

Earlier, the Railway authorities have suspended the stops of Shaheen Express, Karachi Express and Shalimar Express, leaving passengers of the south Punjab at the mercy of transporters.
