OICCI elections

Karachi, March 28: Waqar A. Malik, chief executive officer ICI Pakistan, has succeeded as the president of Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) for 2008-09. This was announced at the annual general meeting of the OICCI held on Friday.

The outgoing president Zubyr Soomro announced the names of the vice president and eight members elected on the managing committee of OICCI for a period of one year. They are: Farhat Ali Khan VP, Asif Qadir (Engro Polymer & Chemicals), Humayun Bashir (IBM), Javed Mahmood (Hub Power Company), Hasan Reza-ur-Rahim (J.P. Morgan Pakistan), Farrukh Hussain Khan (BMA Capital Management), Ameena Saiyid, OBE (Oxford University Press), Tore Johnsen (Telenor Pakistan) and S. Qaisar Shareef (Procter & Gamble Pakistan).
