MCB Bank shows robust growth

KARACHI, March 29: The MCB Bank showed a robust growth of 15 per cent and 26 per cent profit before and after tax which closed at Rs21.31 billion Rs15.3 billion, respectively.

The 60th annual general meeting, chaired by MCB Director Aftab Ahmed Khan on Friday, appreciated the profits earned by the bank in 2007.

The profit translated into EPS (earning per share) of Rs24.30 as compared to Rs19.33 for last year.

MCB President Atif Bajwa and CEO Tahir Hassan Qureshi also attended the meeting.
