LAHORE, March 26: Central Parliamentary leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Q Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said on Wednesday it was the need of the hour that all political forces worked together so that unemployment, price hike and other problems facing the masses could be resolved.

Talking to party delegations from different districts at his residence on Wednesday, Pervaiz Elahi said clash between institutions would not favour the nation, adding that “confrontation would result in multiplication of problems instead of their reduction”.

He said: “Rigidity and adamant attitude could cause irreparable loss to the whole system.”

“We ran a political system successfully for five years, served masses without any discrimination and tried to keep the monster of price spiral under control besides mitigating problem of unemployment,” he said.

He said the PML ruled the country with responsibility and would play its role with its allies in the opposition with the same spirit.

He said the PML would not let the government make any policy that harms the country.

He said the PML would also keep reminding the government of its promises regarding reducing prices of petrol, gas, ghee and other items.--APP
