Gilani thanks MQM chief

KARACHI, March 25: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani called Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain on Tuesday and thanked him for MQM’s unconditional support for him.

According to a press release, Mr Gilani told Mr Hussain that MQM’s decision to support the Pakistan People’s Party served the goal of national reconciliation. Mr Hussain congratulated Mr Gilani on his success and also on the marriage of his son.
