HYDERABAD, March 25: Activists of Qasimabad Action Committee staged a demonstration outside the press club on Tuesday in protest against police failure to arrest murderers of Imran Bhatti.

Mr Bhatti was killed two weeks ago by armed bandits while resisting robbery in his house.

Late Bhatti’s relatives and activists of the committee criticised the Makki Shah police for failing to make any serious efforts for the arrest of Mr Bhatti’s murderers.

The protesters raised slogans against the police and appealed to the authorities, human rights organisations and civil society members to help the bereaved family bring the murderers to book.—Bureau
