PESHAWAR, March 20: Three people were killed and eight others injured in two road accidents in Kohat and Mansehra on Thursday.In the first incident, a car collided with a pickup on Kohat-Rawalpindi road near Ghorazai. As a result Ghulam Mustafa, resident of Gujranwala, died on the spot and four others were seriously injured.

Later, Dr Munir succumbed to his injuries at the KDA divisional headquarters hospital while injured Zulfiqar and Imran were shifted to Peshawar hospital. The condition of injured Najaf was stated to be stable. Gumbat police have registered a case and initiated investigation.

Our Correspondent adds from Mansehra: A man died and another five persons including two women sustained serious injuries when a Mansehra-bound car collided head-on with a lorry near Battagram on Thursday, Dawn has learnt.

One Alamzeb along with his family was on his way to Mansehra from Battagram in a motorcar bearing number MRD 4543 when the incident happened.

The accident happened near Nila Shaung killing the motorcar driver Zareen Khan on the spot.
