FAISALABAD, March 12: The District Bar Association (DBA) on Wednesday brought out a car and motorcycle rally in connection with the ‘Black Flag Week’ announced by the legal fraternity for the restoration of deposed judges.

The rally, led by DBA president Nasir Ali Goraya, started from the district bar premises and terminated at the starting point after marching through Railway Station Chowk, Sattiana Road, D-Ground, People’s Colony and Circular Road.

Holding black flags and banners, protesting lawyers shouted slogans against the government and in favour of judges and independence of judiciary. Police were deployed in force to avert any untoward incident. Meanwhile, the district bar members also continued their hunger strike camp set up on Press Club Road. — Correspondent
