NAWABSHAH, March 11: A young girl was kidnapped on the refusal of a marriage proposal in Sakrand.
Arbelo Chandio of Dad village got registered an FIR at Sakrand police station stating that Manthar Chandio sent a marriage proposal for her sister Shahzadi 18, and on refusal, he and his companions kidnapped her.
Police booked Manthar Chandio, Haji Chandio, Ali Gul, Majeed and Asghar.
No arrest was made till the filing of this report.
In another incident, a woman was strangulated over an old enmity in Qazi Ahmed on Monday.
Ms Malook Zadi wife of Sain Bux Khoso was strangulated by six persons due to old enmity in her village Sono Khan Chandio, near Qazi Ahmed.
