Two farmers kidnapped

KHAIRPUR, March 11: Two farmers were kidnapped and the third freed by dacoits for not being able to swim across Indus River, on Monday.

Rizwan Khuhro, Khan Mohammad Kori and Ali Dino Shaikh were watering lands few kilometres away from their village, Dilawar Khuhro when kidnapped by six men and led towards Indus River.

Relatives visited land and found footprints when farmers did not reach their homes by early Tuesday morning. They along with police traced the footprints which disappeared near Indus River.

One Ali Dino freed by kidnappers reached home and told that he was freed by dacoits for not knowing how to swim.

ACCIDENT: Eight passengers were injured when a wagon overturned near Ranipur on the National Highway on Tuesday.
