HPS Sports Festival

KARACHI, March 6: Shariq steered Beaconhouse Public School New Jubilee Campus to a magnificent 48-30 victory over Habib Public School (HPS) ‘Yellows’ in the HPS sports festival Inter-school basketball tournament at the latter’s premises.

Shariq emerged as a star performer contributing 37 points with his solo efforts for the winners. His tally is the highest in the tournament so far. Sameed and Mustafa scored 14 apiece for the losers.

Earlier, the HPS ‘Yellows’ outclassed Fatimiyah Boys School 44-17. Mustafa top scored with 24 points while Mohammad Raza scored 10 for losers.

The HPS ‘Greens’ chalked up 38-20 victory over Bay View High School with Hamid Ali Khan scoring 17 for Habibians.
