HPS Sports Festival

KARACHI, March 5: Habib Public School (HPS) and Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus notched up victories over their opponents on the opening day of the HPS sports festival Inter-school basketball tournament at the former’s gymnasium the other day.

Displaying better shooting hosts HPS ‘Greens’ brushed aside The City School North Nazimabad Campus 61-29 in a one-sided match. Hamid Ali Khan and Affan scored 18 points apiece for the winners while Daniyal Shah contributed 11 for the losers.

Continuing the winning spree HPS ‘Greens’ consolidated its position handing 52-32 defeat to HPS ‘Yellows’ in another match.

Earlier, Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus overcame Bay View High School 26-22. Leon Septan top scored for winners with 18 points.—Sports Correspondent
