Takaful cover

KARACHI, March 5: Pak-Qatar Family Takaful will provide Takaful coverage to participants of Atlas Pension Islamic Fund.

Atlas Asset Management Limited Executive Director Ali H. Shirazi and Pak-Qatar Family Takaful CEO Pervaiz Ahmed signed an agreement to this effect here on Wednesday.

In case of accidental death, permanent partial disability or permanent total disability due to an accident, Pak-Qatar Family Takaful would provide Atlas Pension Islamic Fund’s participants the Takaful cover of 100 times of their monthly investment in the fund up to a maximum of Rs4 million, a statement said.

Mr Shirazi said that Atlas Pension Islamic Fund is the first Shariah-compliant pension fund in Pakistan which provides family Takaful coverage for its participants.

He said that Atlas Asset Management Limited was always looking for new and innovative ways to offering ‘above and beyond’ products and services for to its participants.--APP
