KARACHI, March 5: The ECO Trade Development Bank is ready to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) for promotion of exports.

TDAP Chief Executive Tariq Ikram and ECO Bank President Murat Ulus in a meeting held here on Wednesday discussed ways to improve cooperation between the two institutions.

Mr Ulus said that the two primary motives behind the setting up of ECO Bank in Pakistan were to increase input in regional trade and to promote economic development of various sectors which need financing, in collaboration of commercial banks.

He said that all suggestions from the TDAP would be evaluated because collaboration was very important and also assured to look into possibility of signing an MoU, says a press release.
