Two brothers kidnapped

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 4: Two brothers were kidnapped near Mohabbat Dero late on Monday night.

They were identified as Khadim Hussain 27, and Riaz Ahmed 22.

They were going to Moharram Sargani village when they were intercepted and whisked away by the kidnappers.

The relatives tried to contact them on their mobile phone which was powered-off. Later, they informed the Mohabbat Dero police. Heavy contingent of police followed the kidnappers.

The DPO of Naushahro Feroze told Dawn that the police succeeded to trace out kidnappers footprints but the accused, along with the kidnapped brothers, crossed the Indus River over to Larkana. He said police had identified the gang but could not disclose its name at this stage. Reliable sources said that the police have arrested Khuda Bux Sargani and his son Mustakhain.Meanwhile, Akbar Ali Sehto. 16, a student of class nine, resident of Molhan village, did not return from Tharushah high school on Saturday morning. The relatives contacted him on his mobile phone which was also switched-off.

On Monday night, a man contacted his cousin Zamir Sehto and claimed that Akbar was with his group. The caller said that they would contact him again.
