RAWALPINDI, April 15: Hepatitis B vaccination campaign for children below one year of age was launched in Rawalpindi district here on Monday.

Acting district Nazim, Raja Javed Ikhlas, inaugurated the campaign at the District Health Complex. The vaccine will be administered in three doses.

He also started the three-day polio vaccination campaign as part of the National Immunization Days campaign.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Mr Ikhlas appealed to the parents to cooperate with the health workers and get their children vaccinated, as it was their responsibility to make the campaign successful.
