DARRA ADAMKHEL, March 3: Political administration has closed all education institutions in Darra Adamkhel for indefinite period as tribesmen mourned the death of scores of people who were killed in a deadly bomb blast at a jirga on Sunday.

The town remained tense and all bazaars and markets were closed on Monday because the tribesmen had declared three-day mourning to express solidarity with the bereaved families.

The victims of the explosion were laid to rest in the area and the Indus Highway which passes through the town remained open for traffic.

Meanwhile, Haji Syed Wazir, head of Quami Tehreek Darra, told Dawn that they would chalk out their future line of action after the mourning.
