NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 3: A minor girl was seriously injured and lost her leg when a speedy trailer hit her on Kandiaro bypass on Monday.

Aaila, 7, daughter of Faqir Marecho, was crossing the National Highway when a speedy trailer hit her as a result of which she lost her leg.

She was brought to Kandiaro taluka hospital from where she was referred to Nawabshah.

Kandiaro police arrested the trailer driver Mumtaz Siyal and impounded the vehicle.

OMBUDSMAN: Regional director of provincial ombudsman office Naushahro Feroze, Wali Mohammad Roshan, has said that he would arrange meetings at union council level through UC nazims to create awareness of filing their complaints against officials.

While talking to journalists at the local press club on Monday, he assured the people of deciding the complaints within two months.

He said 300 applications were pending in the sub-regional office Naushahro Feroze which were burnt in December riots. He appealed the people to send fresh applications for solution of their complaints.
