Two killed in tribal clash

SUKKUR, April 15: Two tribesmen were killed in a clash between two groups of the Maher tribe and one was kidnapped near Pano Aqil, Sukkur District, on Monday.

The clash started when one of the groups snatched a cow from their rivals. One group was led by Shabbir Maher and the other by Gulzar Maher.

Soon both the groups took out their weapons and opened fire as a result of which Sher Gullan and Abdul Jabbar were killed on the spot while Gulsher Maher and Yaseen Maher were injured.

The group led by Shabbir Maher kidnapped Shamman Maher.

No arrest had been reported till the filing of this report.
