DUNEDIN, Feb 29: Seam bowler Chris Tremlett has aggravated a side injury and is to return home from England’s tour of New Zealand, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said on Friday.
Tremlett left the field complaining of pain in his left side after only five overs on the rain-affected second day of the tourist’s match against the Selection XI.
Medical staff decided to send him home to recover. No replacement has been called for yet.—Reuters
