Iqra University in semis

KARACHI, Feb 27: Adeel Abbasi’s superb all-round performance steered Iqra University to the Inter-university cricket tournament semi-finals, after an exciting 15-run victory over Dadabhoy University at the PCB Academy Ground on Tuesday.

Adeel first struck 13 boundaries and three sixes in his 121-run knock and later took three wickets for 40 runs to help Iqra University restrict Dadabhoy to 207 all out in 37.5 overs. Iqra, earlier, had made 222 all out off 39.2 overs.

In the semi-finals Karachi University will take on IBT University while Sir Syed University will play Iqra.
