HYDERABAD: Killing condemned

HYDERABAD, April 14: The Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz has condemned the killing of a protester at Lasmo’s Bhit Jabal camp in Dadu district on Saturday and accused the oil exploration company, district administration and police of the murder.

In a joint statement issued here on Saturday, the chairman of the JSMM, Shafi Mohammad Burfat and others said that the people of the area had launched a peaceful struggle to get employment in the company which had placed “no entry” at its gate.

They said that the killing of Fazal Mari, 18, was aimed at crushing the peaceful movement by use of force.—Bureau
