LAHORE, Feb 21: Harbanspura investigation police claimed on Thursday to have arrested a man who killed his wife and a four-year-old daughter over a ‘property dispute’.

Naureen and her four-year-old daughter, Sumaira, were killed on Dec 13 last. Naureen’s husband Khadim Husain, a factory worker, told police he found bodies of his wife and daughter lying on the floor when he returned home from work.

However, a police team took Husain in custody and started investigation.

During investigation, Husain ‘confessed’ to killing his wife over a property dispute.

Police said Husain later strangled his daughter, fearing that she might expose his crime.—APP
