MITHI, Feb 21: The Election Commission has been urged by the Naib Nazim of Manjhthi Union Council, Taluka Mithi, Adam Hingorjo, to take notice of the polling conducted at Doonjh polling station at the behest of a local wadera with the intention to rig in favour of PML-Q candidates.

Hingorjo told a press conference here on Thursday that the polling for Doonjh was arranged at the Government Primary School. He said Qabool Junejo, a local wadera and supporter of PML-Q forcibly shifted the polling station to the building of BHU Doonjh, deployed his armed men there and began polling.

He said when he along with others arrived at the polling station, men of Qabool Junejo armed with weapons, axes and clubs attacked and injured them while terminating the polling.
