ISLAMABAD, Feb 21: Two teenagers were allegedly kidnapped for ransom in different parts of the capital here on Thursday, police said.

In the first incident, Mohammad Afzal, 15, student of a madressah at Sector I-10 Markaz was kidnapped from Pirwadhai Mor.

Quoting the victim’s father, a labourer, the police said the alleged kidnappers had demanded a huge amount of money for his release.

In another incident, four persons forced into a house at Iqbal Town and held two teenagers, Saeed and Sufaan, hostage.

They tied Sufaan with a piece of rope in the house and took away Saeed.

The police said the kidnappers through a telephone call demanded ransom from the victim’s father for the release of the boy.

The police have registered cases and started investigations. —Staff Reporter
