Noman to coach football goalies

LAHORE, Feb 20: Former international goalkeeper Noman Ibrahim will be training the top 10 goalkeepers of the country here from Thursday till March 31 in order to hone their skills for forthcoming international assignments, the first of which being April’s AFC Challenge Cup, to be held in Taiwan.

Noman, AFC AID 27 coach, was the goalkeeper coach of the Pakistan team, which drew 0-0 with Asian champions Iraq in the World Cup clash at Damascus last year.

Goalkeepers: Altaf Ahmed, Amir Qureshi, Ghulam Nabi (KRL), Syed Sultan Ali, Bilal Rafiq (PIA), Mujahid (PTV), Yasir bin Younas (NBP), Toqeer Ahmed (Faisalabad), Mahmood Ahmed (Army), Basit Ghafoor (PEL).
