LAHORE, April 12: The Pakistan Chemists Retailers Association has condemned the attack on Lahore drug court by some lawyers.

Addressing a Press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Friday, PCRA chairman Ishaq Meo said the Lahore High Court chief justice should take suo motto action. He also demanded that the Lahore High Court Bar Association, Punjab Bar Council and Supreme Court Bar Association should cancel the licences of the lawyers involved in the incident.

Mr Meo also demanded that the government should constitute a separate judicial commission to try minor violations. He said the CrPC should be separated from Drug Act, 1976.
