Two killed, 20 injured as wagon overturns

MULTAN, April 12: Two persons were killed and 20 others received injuries on Friday in a road accident near Kot Addu, some 80 kilometres from here.

A speeding Multan-bound wagon (DGJ-2496) overturned while avoiding an accident with a rickshaw near Wapda Colony. An unidentified person died instantly while 21 others sustained wounds. The injured, including Hasnain, Mujeeb, Mehboob, Imam Bukhsh, Wazeera Bibi and Mukarram, were shifted to the Nishtar Hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries. —Nouman
