SHIKARPUR, Feb 17: A kidnapping case has been lodged against People’s Party candidate for NA-203 Shikarpur-II Sardar Wahid Bux Khan Bhayo and his men at Chak police station on Saturday.

The complainant, Abdul Rasool Mahar of Chak town, has stated in the FIR that Sardar Wahid, Inamullah Dal, Allah Wadhayo Kehar, Badaruddin and 11 others had kidnapped his son, Sukkur District Zakat Officer Aftab Ahmed Mahar, from Chak-Jahan Khan link-road at gunpoint when he and his son were on their way back from Sukkur to Chak in a car.

He claimed in the FIR that a few days ago Sardar Wahid had threatened him to stop activities against him otherwise he would kidnap his son. And after that he was kidnapped.

Chak police have registered a case against Sardar Wahid and 14 others.

No arrest was made till the filling of this report.
