GUJRANWALA, Feb 15: Visiting a father’s sin on his son, a woman on Friday ‘slaughtered’ her nephew to exact revenge from his father over a monetary dispute at Rahwali.

Reports reaching here said Muhammad Usman, a seventh-class student, was standing outside his house at Usmanwala when his aunt Zaiba, wife of Nasir, took him to her house and tortured him with the help of her brother, Mithu.

Later, they tied him with ropes and slaughtered the boy and hid the body in the house. Mithu, however, let the cat out of the bag when the deceased’s family quizzed him.

It is learnt that the woman had a monetary dispute with her brother. The Cantonment police recovered the body and arrested Zaiba and Mithu after registering a case against them.
