MIRPURKHAS, Feb 12: Complete strike was observed in Kunri town on Tuesday in protest against the killing of Pakistan People’s Party worker Mubarak Chandio.

PPP workers staged a procession in the town and held a demonstration. They burnt tyres on the roads and an effigy of Jam Memon, taluka nazim of Kunri.

Police lodged a case late on Monday against Jam Memon, taluka nazim Kunri, Dr Dost Mohammad Memon, PML-Q candidate for PS-68, Sattar, Wahid and over a hundred unknown people on charges of being involved in Chandio’s murder.—BoC
