Tenders for sale of T-bills invited

KARACHI, Feb 11: Tender for the sale of government of Pakistan market treasury bills 3-month (maturity on May 8, 2008), 6-month (maturity on August 15, 2008) and 12-month (maturity on February 12, 2009) will be invited separately by domestic markets and monetary management department, State Bank of Pakistan, Karachi, through primary dealers from February 12 to 13, 2008 till 11:15 hours.

The tenders will be opened at 11:30 hours on February 12 (Wednesday). Result of the auction will be announced on February 13, and the successful bidders would be required to deposit the amount of accepted bids on February 14.

Bids can be rejected without assigning any reason. The pre-auction target is Rs75,000 million.--PPI
