GUJRANWALA, Feb 10: The body of a minor boy, who was kidnapped from here about 23 days ago, was found from a graveyard in Daska’s Sikhwan village on Sunday.

Four-year-old Binyamin, the son of cloth dealer Sheikh Muhammad Azeem who lives in Gujranwala, was kidnapped on Jan 18. Later, the kidnappers demanded Rs5 million ransom for Binyamin’s release.

Azeem gave the kidnappers Rs400,000 and then another Rs200,000 for his son’s release, but they said they would release Binyamin after getting ransom according to their demand.

However, they stopped contacting Azeem seven days ago and also switched off their cell phone.

On Sunday morning, Azeem learnt that body of a child has been found in Sikhwan village. On this, Azeem and his family reached the village and identified Binyamin from his clothes and shoes.
