SWABI: One killed in accident

SWABI, Feb 7: One person was killed and nine others were injured in a road accident here on Thursday.

A passenger coach bearing registration number 1750-C was on his way to Peshawar from Topi tehsil when it reached near Sherabad in Tordher region the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.

As a result Fazal Rahim, resident of Kotha was killed on the spot and other passengers were injured. Seven injured were identified as Maboobur Rehman, Ihsan Khan, Nasir Khan, Qabil Shah, Fazal Rehman, Fazal Ahmad, Shuakat Ali while the names of two wounded persons could not ascertained.

The critically injured persons were rushed to Nowshera hospital while those with minor injuries were treated in the nearby hospital.—Correspondent
