HYDERABAD, April 10: A large number of villagers, including women and children, and activists of different social welfare organizations continued their token hunger strike outside the press club for the third consecutive day here on Wednesday.

They have been protesting against the raids on Goth Mouledino Mirbahar and the residence of a journalist Abdul Latif Mallah, ransacking of homes and arrest of over one dozen villagers.

The hunger strikers demanded that false cases against the villagers be withdrawn.
