Bahria College move ahead

KARACHI, Feb 5: Bahria College M.T. Khan Road were through to the second round after an imposing 2-0 victory over DHA College Phase VII in the Karachi Board Inter-collegiate girls’ badminton championship at the Karachi College for Women courts the other day.

In the other match, KMA College received a walk-over against Home Economics College as the latter did not show up.

Government College F.B. Area block 16 and Government College 11½ Orangi Town were scratched after both failed to turn up for the third fixture.

Meanwhile, the first round matches will end on Wednesday and will be followed by quarter-finals.

Wednesday’s fixtures:

Bahria College Nazimabad v Government Riaz Girls College; College of Emergent Technology v St Joseph’s College.
