MARDAN, Feb 5: The people of a rival group reportedly fired five rockets on the house of their rivals at Dhakki Mera on Tuesday but no casualty was reported in the incident. Sources said that Zawar Kashmiri and Hazrat Umar Kashmiri groups, armed with sophisticated weapons, exchanged fire over a family feud.

According to Zawar Kashmiri, his rival Hazrat Umar and his nine accomplices allegedly fired the rockets damaging a portion of his residence. Zawar group had lodged an FIR against 10 people of the rival group at Toru police station and an accused Alamgir Kashmiri was arrested. People of the area feared that they could take lives of innocent people and asked the authorities to provide them security.—Correspondent
