SWABI, Feb 3: Despite the fact that Awami National Party (ANP) workers have been running a full-fledged campaign for the party’s chief, Asfandyar Wali Khan, in NA-12, Swabi-I, his absence from the constituency for more than one month now is likely to affect the poll result in favour of his rivals, political workers said. According to them, Asfandyar’s absence from the constituency during the peak days of the election campaign was exploited by his archrivals, which might prove costly for the ANP chief.—Correspondent
